Urgent Housing Benefit Review, never had before, anyone else?

Hi everyone

I've just got a letter that the council is required to take a full case review of my housing benefit claim.

I'm anxious about everything lately, absolutely everything, I've got ptsd and there's been lots of life issues lately. So this has just thrown me.

There are no changes at all to my finances and I am an honest person so everything is above board.

Does anyone know if this is routine? I just want to drop the worry because while I know there's no problems, I don't like to think I've been chosen for investigation. They can have all the info, it hasn't changed. So, I just hope someone tells me this is normal and routine.

Thanks

People are often just randomly chosen, you can take someone to support you if you want.

They also might of been under paying you and want to check

I'm sorry you are feeling poorly and this is causing additional stress.

Have you got dc? I had to do one last week to check after changes... Dd started college. Reviews are just that. Nothing to worry about.. The online thing is easy.
