How to report self employed earnings to UC

Does anyone know how you report self employed earnings to UC? There doesn't seem to be anyway of doing this on the online journal.

I added a change of circumstances to my account 2 weeks ago to tell them that I was starting to do a bit of evening babysitting. I am on LCWRA. The babysitting is once or twice a month when the kids are asleep so between £0-100 a month.

I messaged them before I did this and they told me once I had reported the change I would need to report these earnings every month before I would get my payment but that I would be allowed to do this work on LCWRA. There is just no where to do this on my account. I have sent 3 messages on the journal and noone has replied. I tried calling them but they said I'd get a message on my journal.

Assessment period end next week and I am so stressed as I'm worried they will delay my payment. I still have debt I am paying off from when I moved and they refused to give me that months rent even though they paid me in arrears because I told them my move date was 2 days before the end of the assessment period so then I didn't have my rent.

I am so anxious and UC just seem to have no communication.

Thanks for any info.

You can't report your earnings until the end of your assessment period (AP). A To Do will be generated at the end of your AP and you report your earnings through the To Do.

Ah ok perfect thanks that's made me feel less worried :)

Yes you should get the option to report your earnings in the to do list on the date your assessment period ends.
