hello
i work for three different employers and pay NIC separately, in the past three years since i had all these jobs, HMRC had refunded me the excess NIC i paid ( it is common for people with multiple employers to overpay NIC as the system dont talk to each other) the process had been i send them the P60 end of year and they send a cheque/
this year i have been pushed from pillar to post, multiple calls all in vain or given wrong advice by various people who don't know what they are saying; eventually i spoke to someone today who said i am able to get refund only 1000 pounds which i disputed, i think i am entitled for much more refund than this based on my rough estimates and earnings
is there an online calculator i can use to input my p60 number which then says how much i should have paid, can i use that to challenge HMRC?? any other ways to go about this, really end of the tether and pulling my hair out😓

Something like this?

http://nicecalculator.hmrc.gov.uk/Class1NICs1.aspx

Near the bottom it says employees contribution.

HM Revenue & Customs: Class1NICs-1
