Is there any way of finding out online whether I have an Irish PPS number or not?

I need to know for a tax thing in Ireland, but I haven't lived there for nearly 20 years and I wasn't employed while I did live there so I'm not sure whether I have one or not. Everything I've managed to find online so far seems to imply that I have to go to Ireland and queue in an office in order to find out if I have one.

I got DS one over the phone, needwed it for passport, u will have been allocated one if you were born there.

Thanks louii. I wasn't born there, but lived there from about 6 weeks old until I left university. Hopefully I do have one, it'll be a bit of a pain in the arse if I don't.

Thanks so much for that louii, it only took seconds for the woman I spoke to to look it up. She tactfully didn't mention my accent at all, it's quite shamefully London now, not a trace of Dublin 18 left.
