Hooyu identify check for a credit card

So I have been approved for another balance transfer with virgin Money. They use this ridiclous ID platform called 'Hooyu' where you upload a picture of your photo ID and then take a live selfie.

I don't drive and my passport expired on Tuesday! I have renewed my passport online but I know that this can take a week or two. Does anyone know how long the Hooyu link lasts for? My worry is that I will have to reapply and will lose the offer.

With lending you have 30 days from the Tom be off application to accept it. If the link expires your application will still be opened with the offer you need. You may need to call them to get a new link sent out.

there are also laws protecting people with no photo ID. If it looks as if your passport is not coming back on time talk to Virgin money and they can tell you about other documents. A tax coding notification can often be used instead. If you call HMRC they are normally very quick in sending these in the post. You just need to request it includes your full name not just initials.
