Hi everyone,

I am a Muslim and I'd like to invest about £5k. I am totally clueless when it comes to finances and don't know where to start.

Could anyone offer any useful advice please on how to start and where to invest etc. I've been told that gold and ISAs always offer good returns?

Also does anyone know of any muslim finan ill advisors who could help me with this please?

Thanks.

Savings Champion lists the top Sharia compliant fixed term savings accounts
https://savingschampion.co.uk/best-buys/personal/sharia-fixed-term-accounts

There is also some detailed information on Sharia compliant financial products on money.co.uk

With just £5K I think you might find it more feasible to do your own research into Sharia saving/investing. It will be tricky to find an adviser, without losing a large percentage of your pot in fees.

Try Islamic Finance Guru for investment advice online.

There isn't a lot of choice really, but I think that actually makes it easier.
