Independent Assessment Services (IAS) for PIP

Has anyone been referred to IAS regarding a new PIP claim. I applied 6 weeks ago, had a message from IAS to say they will be dealing with it but not heard anything else since.
Just wondering how long it might take or any experiences of them.

They are the assesors??? I had capita on 30th june. Had letter 9 july they have enough info to make a decision. Ring them today no decision made yet. Some ppl get it approved so quick & wake up to funds. Mines dragging on & on. It’s frustrating isnt it x
