Hi applied for pip forms but never sent them back by the date or filled them out . I've had a text from the assesment services saying they'll be doing my assesment . People have said they still go through the process. I'm just wondering has anyone had any succesfull claims having sent no evidence or filled in forms . I'm stressing about this now as I didn't have the motivation to do the forms due to my mental health .

@upallnight76 i phoned for the form on April 10th. It was due back on May 10th but i didn’t fill it in ( again! ) and the phone assessment was on July 10th so exactly 2 months after the form was due back. It shouldn’t be too much longer now for you fingers crossed.

@Zoflorabore how long after applying did you have your assessment? I'm still waiting from June.

I applied 22apr had assesment june 28th. Had letter very start of July to say enough info to make a decision & it’s being dealt with il hear shortly. I rung yest (2nd aug - after a 48 min hold) still no decision still not been looked at but lady was nice offered to post it to me so I could see what was written.

im hoping if I scored too low they would have rejected me by now?? Who knows. Keep me updated good luck.
assesments can be very twisted make sure you have a witness with u & the assesor is aware. As iv seen some fictional reports submitted in my time. X

Hi all I'm so confused currently phoning pip to request the assesors report as advised by a benefits advisor , and the automated line said my next pip payment is for £107.1p on the 5th of February? I'm so confused by this , does that mean I've beeb accepted ? Still waiting for someone to answer now hopefully they can give me more information on it

Hi op, sorry I’m late to the thread and I hope you get to see this message.
like you, I requested a form and didn’t fill in out. I’ve done this 3 or 4 times and just couldn’t face it due to my MH ( I also have several physical conditions ) and I received a message to say that I would be having a pip assessment by phone. I decided to just give it a try. I was dreading it.

my assessment was supposed to last one hour approximately and ended up being 2 hours and 4 minutes. The assessor was absolutely lovely
to me and she put me at ease. I then received a message a few days later to say that the report had been received by the DWP.

bearing in mind my assessment was on Monday 10th July I received a phone call last Monday 24th July from the DWP but missed the call and the voicemail said I had been awarded pip and would receive a letter in the post.

i called the pip number and the automated service told me I would receive a payment of X amount on X date which I then worked out my entitlement from. It was clearly enhanced rate for both as I had calculated the different outcomes. Sure enough on Friday I received back payment from April-July and the letter detailing the outcome came the following day!

it was a huge shock for me to be awarded and so soon as you hear lots of horror stories about the process and I was fully prepared to to to MR and appeal if needed as I’ve suffered for far
too long. The pip will make such a huge difference to my life.

I would love to hear how you’ve got on.

hope this helps anyone who is unsure whether to go ahead with the assessment or not.

What’s this number please lol???? I want to try x
