I have recently done the landing page evaluation part of the Appen test and failed. I kept failing all the practice tests too. Half the battle in both practice and official was that I was rating pages that were out of date compared to when they were officially rated. For example, a page wouldn't load, a page redirected me to another website entirely, and what was supposed to be a thread on a public forum no longer existed and redirected me to the homepage of the forum.
I spent a huge amount of time on the test, filling in paragraph after paragraph of notes to justify my answers as instructed, only for it not to be checked by a human being and an automated fail email arriving fifteen minutes later.
I have fed this back two days ago, but not heard anything yet. Just wondering if I should retake the test (if it is the same webpages my ratings won't be any different) or shall I accept I'm not what they want and move on?
