wormwood scrubs prison - remand

very long shot but dont have any other options.

has anyone visited anyone on remand here. you have to pre-book the visits.

ive been ringing all day but constantly engaged. is it open certain times/days?

Found this on the net, not sure if its much use but times are there;

Social visits

Remand prisoners:

Mon: 09:30-11:00 & 14:00-16:00 (pm no children)

Tue: 09:30-11:00

Wed: 09:30-11:00

Thur: 09:30-11:00 (no children)

Fri: 09:30-11:00 & 14:00-16:00

Sat: 09:15-10:15 & 10:30-11:30

Sun: 14:00-15:00 & 15:15-16:15

Booking information: All social visits must be pre booked by using the numbers below. Please be aware that as there is a high demand for the booking lines, you may experience some delay in getting through. We apologise in advance if you are delayed and ask that you try to book your visit during the evening sessions or weekends.

Social visits must be pre-booked on the following numbers: 020 8588 3564/3566/3596. Legal visits must be booked by email at [email protected].

Additional Information: There are no visits on the afternoon of the first Tuesday of the month and clothing change for Un Convicted prisoners are permitted Mon-Fri mornings only.

I think all visits have to b re-booked, you can't just turn up.

thank you - i have found all this information. but the 3 phone numbers they give to book the visits are been engaged all day.

just wanted to make sure they dont have like an hour slot during the day that they actually answer the phones.
