When paying bills by bank transfer, do working days still apply??

This is probably a daft question but you used to need to allow a few working days before eg a bill/credit card payment would reach its destination so I’d be conscious of weekends and bank holidays, but if paying online-does that still apply?

Yes I think it’s still applies that you have to be cautious of weekends but happy to be corrected. I tend to make payments a few days before just incase

It's not instant as in many cases the payment goes to a central account and is then applied to the specific card number/customer account a day or 2 later
