Leaving tesco CC after change in clubcard?

I've been a loyal tesco cc user for years enjoying their clubcard vouchers as a bonus. I'm thinking I might be better off going to a different cc with a different incentive

Wasn’t their credit card rubbish even with the triple points?

I applied for one, it came, I realised how rubbish it was and just cancelled it immediately.

@ThankmelaterOkay depends how much you use it I suppose, we've had hundreds of pounds of savings over the years, probably easily into 4 figures. But we shopped in Tesco too so most of the points were from the Clubcard and about a 1/3 the credit card.

OP we are changing too, we've decided to start shopping elsewhere. We've decided to go down the air miles route so we are looking at Amex, if airmiles aren't of use to you Amex seem to have a pretty good cashback card too with no limit from what I can see, but you might want a backup alongside Amex for the places it's not accepted, I gather it's accepted much more widely these days though.

I was purely getting it for the rare occasion I might fill up at a Tesco. Don’t shop there very often.

Chase at 1%, or Amex (currently in 2 year cool off) at 1.25%+, is far better.

Wasn’t the credit card 1 point for 4? So 0.75% cashback if you used triple voucher? And now it’s only double! So 0.5% cashback.

Yes I was looking at the Amex ones with the cashback offer despite the charge.

I use my Natwest one, it's a reward card and I get about £500 a year just for doing the food shop on it.

I was just coming in to post about the Nat West CC. I get cash back for all purchases so I use it for everything, wry rarely use cash these days! Pay it off every month and generally get £20 a month just for using it.

Yes I'm leaving tesco now. There are better options out there since they changed it to x2 vouchers
