Tesco Clubcard Double Points Coupon

I did an online Tesco shop which was delivered last night.

I had clicked through my coupons and there was one that said "double points, used 0 of 21 times, expiring in 11 days"

So I added it to basket, and I checked my Clubcard this morning and it looks like I've received double points - happy days.

However, it looks like I have 20 more times to use this but it now expires in 9 days

This is the first I've seen it. I didn't know it was there.

I can't believe how many points I have missed out on I use the points to pay for our summer holiday so I'm so annoyed.

Does anybody know about these coupons? How or why I got it and if I'm likely to get one again? I wish they had emailed me or something to tell me about it!

Why don't you call Tesco Clubcard customer service and explain the situation and they may extend the time frame if possible. No guarantees but no harm in trying.

21 times? I wonder if that's a typo?
Mine are usually (paper) ones valid for 2 shops.

Double points are usually only for the next 2 shops, never seen one for 21 shops.

Defo valid for 21 shops. Don’t know when they’re coming out again OP but I don’t usually get notifications for coupons so just check regularly

I had the same voucher and I think I spotted it immediately and it was valid for just 21 days so you'd be basically get double points every time you shopped in 3 week period.

I got one that as well, it's double points every day in April - also got the usual double points on 2 orders one.

I've got this coupon too. Added it to my Clubcard in the App and I have used it 7 our of 21 times .I also have 9 days left before it expires.

Sorting here very jealous as I haven't had a coupon... any coupon... from Tesco for years!!

Ah ok. So I get shopping weekly, so really I could only have used it around 4 times then? I've used it this week and will use it next week so I've only missed out twice then?

That's not quite as bad as missing out on using it 19 times

i think it means its been issued to you 21 times but you have only used it twice . i dont think it means you get it 21 times a month .

Why don't I have a coupon? I buy loads of stuff there. I did get 150 points the other day as some kind of 'reward' in an email.

Tesco are annoying the hell out of me right now so i wouldn't be surprised that they do not always make these things obvious.
Ive just looked on my app to see they are reducing the clubcard points swap to X2 instead of X3 😡

I've only really started using the points the last few years. I used to just use them on my shopping because I didn't realise about the 3x value thing.

Got a holiday booked for this summer and the balance needs paid soon. So I have until end of May to collect points and switch them for 3x the value. So I'm really disappointed I didn't know about these double points as I've been spending around £100 per week on shopping and not using it

Oh bums! I didn't notice this either! Thanks @ratherbepaddleboarding - I've added it now, at least I'll get double points for 2 shops. I'll just make sure I do one BIG shop on bulky items.

Yes I use the app and check for coupons often. I want to collect the points towards a holiday so do keep an eye on them

Just a warning - I added mine to my clubcard so it credited the double points automatically. I still had one more use on it but I then went to the pharmacy in store and used my clubcard £1.60 and it used the 2nd double points coupon - what a waste. I think I did the same with the last one because I was wondering where it had gone when I next did my big shop. I’ll know next time!!! Either remove it until you want to use it, or don’t bother with the clubcard for small purchase (if you know you have a double point coupon there).
