Was checking my self assessment account yesterday and have noticed that HMRC have estimated my income for next year as c10% lower than the current year. I'm employed only and compete self assessment to repay part of my child benefit. Anyone else had this? Unless they are averaging out previous income as when I was last completing self assessment several years ago my annual income was lower than for the current year.
