Money and living advice

Hi everyone,

I'm currently sharing a mortgage with DP but the relationship has broken down and we need to separate. I only work part time because I have one DS and with the cost of living it feels totally undoable and overwhelming. Where can I get sensible advice and information about what to do next?

Many thanks

Hi, sorry to hear that, OP.

What country are you in? Do you mind saying?

If you’d like any help from the mortgage side I can look at it for you just drop me a message 😊.

Have you talked about what to do with the property ? Either one needs to buy the other out or you need to sell and divide the equity. If you can't afford to buy him out and take on the mortgage yourself then you may need to sell and rent. Some mortgage lenders will take benefits, child maintenance into consideration.
