My kids and I have had a really traumatic year… they witnessed their dad try to kill me with a knife and beat me unconscious. My DS is the one that actually saved me, he is only 11. I’ve gone back to work full time and haven’t always got enough money to cover bills, I’m in debt and can’t borrow any more due to my bad credit. I was expecting to be paid tomorrow but today I was told it’s not until next Friday and I haven’t bought my kids anything apart from a pair of socks and some bath toiletries. I haven’t stopped crying all day, I feel like a complete failure… my kids deserve to have a happy, magical and fun Christmas but I can’t give it to them.
