2 jobs or one to be better off ?

would be grateful for some advice as my head is spinning from all the research I have tried to do!
I have a permanent contact with 2 different NHS hospitals - one for 3 days - one for 2. The 3 day a week has provisionally offered me full time work

currently the 2 day a week is automatically full tax as I use all my personal allowance on job 1 . Does anyone know any other financial advantages or disadvantages of taking the offer of one 5 day a week job?
thanks

Your personal allowance is the same regardless if how many jobs you have.

Tax wise it’s all the same. The only benefit I had from having to jobs was when I went on may leave I then got two lots of SMP instead of 1! Could this be something you may benefit from?

The NI you pay might change, but (assuming the same total salary) your tax won't.

you get your national insurance threshold allowance per job providing it's a different employer, also student loan threshold is per job. So usually you'll be better off having 2 jobs at the same rate rather than 1 full time but it entirely depends on your circumstances.
