Anyone had one approved recently? How long from application till offer?

I don’t have recent personal experience but I accepted an offer on my house on Wednesday and Nationwide who are my buyers lenders called yesterday and are coming to do the valuation next week. The estate agents said this is really quick and some lenders are taking 4 weeks. My mortgage is with Nationwide and it took a week but that was 10 years ago.

My valuation has been requested. I'm not sure if they will need to do a full survey because I have a scottish home report that is in date and the broker said they can just request some additional info from the surveyor. Hoping all goes quick, my solicitor keeps telling me some mortgages are taking 10 weeks 😫

Very quick. See screenshot - this was last month. Much quicker than Natwest who fucked me around for months and took 10k off the AIP and then when I presented new paperwork to show increased income took a further 20k off meaning no way of moving. So lost our 1.83% deal. Furious wasn't the word!

Wow, that's really quick! I know the market is batshit at the moment so hoping for a decision within 4 weeks. Application was put in last week.

Applied on Friday 9th September and received an offer on the 23rd. There was a bank holiday on the 19th.

Fingers crossed for a quick decision. I'm in an incredibly awkward situation here and need to get out ASAP!

Valuation came back today. Just the wait for the final decision now. Shitting it here!
