MLM Bot Watch 73 A thread about desperate bots desperately botting

Saw previous thread was full, so started this one Grin! Thread 73, who would have thought Shock. So much has changed over the years of these MLM threads but it is interesting that some stalwarts are still going, many thousands of victims in their wakes.

The MLM industry is counting the cost of a more awakened population who can now see through this scam industry, although there are still the serial bots who believe they fail because they 'didn't try hard enough' rather than understanding that the business model set them up to fail, and join countless MLMs in a desperate attempt to find success Sad.

Rat deserting the sinking ship or, mor likely, the sinking ship offloading as much of its load as it can- they have clearly lost rental income frime Head Office, hence a room being available for the dismal collection of Huns who turned up yesterday.

YouOKHun · 03/11/2022 23:49

He’s not an employee or director of FL is he? Companies House shows he has a consultancy: “Management consultancy activities other than financial management”. So it’s a sinking ship he can walk away from without a backward glance I guess. I see he and wife have a nice big directors loan in true FL tradition. Of course his consultancy business uses THAT accountancy firm in a nearby Spa town. I know nothing about these things but it all feels very incestuous.

Ohnonevermind · 04/11/2022 00:00

Looking at Bruv’s Facebook, he’s taken photos on the beach for his photo shoot - there’s one photo he took of Mr Fierce, who is displaying a distinct lack of enthusiasm at an evening with the castles, which doesn’t bode well

Is the FL Country Manager still active? Can’t see his profile on Facebook?

Maybe the FL Cunty Manager has sacked the boss / bot? Perhaps he’s given up his j.o.b. to return to those golden days when he was a Forever Living bot taking his first steps to manager. 😉

Spongebobette · 04/11/2022 07:39

He was scheduled to speak at their event on 19 Oct so something has happened quite recently

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/11/2022 07:40

But he's definitely gone off grid.

Spongebobette · 04/11/2022 07:50

I can’t find him on Companies House?

BSintolerant · 04/11/2022 07:53

As an employee of the UK FL company he might never have been a director. If he were and he’d resigned that would show up on Companies House.

Spongebobette · 04/11/2022 08:08

Ah he was never a Director

Spongebobette · 04/11/2022 08:23

NB

top tips for a photoshoot include:

  • pick your outfits for each shot
  • keep it under 5 hours (it’s tiring)
  • agree a minimum number of shots
  • decide a photoshoot theme/ location
spanfan · 04/11/2022 09:28

I saw that sponge, what a load of twaddle.

As if any of their subscribers will get anywhere near needing a photoshoot anyway.

And fierce's 3 hints for being a good entrepreneur are morning routine, journalling and thinking about your ideal client.

So that's how Elon did it then. 👍👍😭😎

Pushing the amateur photgrapher Bro Bot. They really have no morals at all do they.

My morning routine consists of a dog walk, a cup of coffee and a comedy podcast.

Then I sit at my desk and contact actual clients, and do actual work for them. I turn over a profit each year without a photo shoot or journaling, I must be super lucky.

I can’t find him on Companies House?

@Spongebobette he is listed as an individual formal version of his first name, middle name John.

Spongebobette · 04/11/2022 11:29

Thank you

well well well. Another big Directors loan

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/11/2022 11:41

Interesting that he's also a Director of the DSA since 2000.

fromdownwest · 04/11/2022 11:47

Just had an email from my industry newspaper - Any guesses who may have been included in these snippets? May explain a sudden desire to holiday in Mexico.

'Regulator warns unauthorised firms and individuals are looking to take advantage of the rising cost of living'

'The regulator (FCA) highlighted that it had seen several cases involving unauthorised firms and individuals seeking to take advantage of the rising cost of living. During the period, the FCA issued 303 warnings about unauthorised firms and individuals'

YouOKHun · 04/11/2022 11:49

talking of the DSA, I can’t see any hint of product selling direct to people outside the scheme being part of FLP’s future plans. Where’s the “direct selling”?

Every time I see Yawn post about how joining her in business will provide an income to beat the cost of living crisis it makes my blood boil
It might help HER though

I do wonder what sort of income FL is providing these days for her and others at her level

BSintolerant · 04/11/2022 11:53

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/11/2022 11:41

The board of directors of the DSA consists of the usual suspects from MLM. The vampires are running the blood bank.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/11/2022 12:03

@fromdownwest I can't find the list of firms or individuals the FCA issued warnings about, but I'd like to think PhD made it into that particular hall of fame, perhaps thanks to some whistleblowing by members of the anti-MLM community...

There isn't a list published, the data is collective. However, it shows that unsolicitated, unregulated financial advice will not wash, and is on their radar with the resources being thrown towards it.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/11/2022 12:07

Ok, I've seen the data page on the FCA website, I'm wondering who they send the warnings to, if not the general public?

BSintolerant · 04/11/2022 12:08

Very interesting @fromdownwest

PhD’s antics remind me of some of the cons featured in Anna Konnikova’s “The Confidence Game” - a fascinating study of the antics of con artists throughout the ages. I’m convinced we’ll see PhD on the Six ‘o Clock News for all the wrong reasons in the not too distant future.

PhD bot must be seriously deluded if she thinks she’s going to get rich off the back of her unlawful financial advice coaching - yet she carries on with the con. How does she sleep at night? Surely she must know on some level, deep down, that this isn’t going to end well. If she’s still clinging onto the belief that she’s going to make money if only she keeps at it, it goes to show how much she’s been brainwashed by her involvement in MLM.

BSintolerant · 04/11/2022 12:10

Is it possible to make a request to see who’s been warned by the FCA?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/11/2022 13:29

The wording is "warnings about", so you'd think it would be to potential victims...
