I ordered an item just over a week ago, which said would dispatch in 5 days. A week later, still no sign of the order progressing, so I called them today to switch it to a different colour that was in stock. All good. Changed and dispatched and I have had my tracking number emailed, it's now with the courier. But I've just noticed that the original pending payment from my order has fallen back into my bank account, I assume because it went over 7 days without them claiming it, and they haven't charged me again on dispatch. Is this normal? Will the money just come out at a random time, or have I somehow had a stroke of luck? (Very much a large retailer, so I'd unashamedly take it as a win if that were the case. Small company I'd fess up immediately!)
