Paying off PayPal credit balance

Does anyone know if you can pay off a PayPal credit balance with a credit card?

I've just had a 0% spending credit card arrive - my plan being so I can put the balance on there and not pay any interest but it's not accepting it when I try to pay🙈

I thought you could add a credit card to your list of payment options and do it that way.

Could be wrong though

This is the only way to do it, assuming you've a 0% offer on money transfers.

I just used this method to pay off another credit card as I couldn't balance transfer. Works fine so long as you don't leave it in your bank account too long and get tempted to use it to pay for other things!

So I have spoken to M&S bank via online chat and they say I can't transfer money from credit card to another bank account and if I withdraw cash at a cash point I will be charged interest.

There isn't another way to do it is there?🙈really should have checked this before I applied for the credit card!

What you can do, is if it's 0% on purchases for a while, is to do your normal shopping stuff on the credit card, then use the cash from your bank that you've not spent to pay your Paypal off.

Ooh yes this is a good idea! Thanks for the suggestion, I think it may be the best way around it

Unfortunately no because it’s using credit to pay off credit. Could you use the new card for something else, maybe groceries, and use your bank card to pay it?
