Has anybody successfully reported missing Cost of Living payment?

Hi

There has been a mistake in my mum’s UC statements - she got nil award in the qualifying period, however she was eligible and eventually did get paid, however the statement wasn’t amended (so was still showing zero) up until last week. UC finally corrected it, but I see why my mum didn’t receive the cost of living payment at first.

We’ve reported it as soon as it was possible but haven’t heard anything yet. UC aren’t too helpful, so hey just say they don’t deal with this payment.

Has anyone actually got the money or heard back yet?

Yes, we’ve reported it as soon as it was possible. All it said is that they’re going to be in touch within two weeks, but so far we’ve heard nothing

It's not being issued by UC - it's coming directly via central Government.

As long as the UC statement is now corrected, you should get a response after reporting the payment "missing" within a few days. They tend to be sending a response back within 3-5 days at the moment.

I reported a missing payment for a family member (on pension credits ) they got a letter in a week later saying they will receive the first cost of living payment no later than 1/9 .

Well I got a nil award in may 2022 but my rent paid directly to my landlord so it says I might still be eligible for the £326 I done the form on the 1st August and still waiting to see if I'm entitled to it I should be as my mate got it she got a nil award in may but rent goes to her landlord so just a waiting game and who can I get in touch with to see as UC don't deal with it

Hi, similar thing happened to me. Was awarded nil payment due to UC error but I got them to fix and pay me eventually. I wrote a message on my UC journal and they told me to report the payment as missing on gov website. Few weeks later I received the payment in my account.

I reported mine on the 1st of August, got a response around 3 weeks later stating I should have received the payment and will be paid in due course. Absolutely no idea when that will be.

I have seen people who have filled in the form who have already received the payment, most people I believe were told September in their letter so I'm really confused why mine doesn't and suspect I may still be waiting in October.
