All the same for the amount of heat given out if all ran off electricity.

That said you may perceive more heat off an infrared one.

I think it's much of a muchness in terms of putting x amount of energy in and getting y heat out.
I made the decision based on whether I wanted to heat a space quickly or have it stay a consistent temp for a long time.

Seems sensible to revive this rather than start a new thread on the same subject. Can anyone tell me what the Which conclusion was, as I don't really want to buy a subscription just to answer that question?

Oh, and did they recommend any particular brand as good value? Or can anyone else?
