When DWP payment clears? Payment not showing in my bank.

I am due to one off payment from DWP.
I spoke to them on the phone on Thursday afternoon, they said payment being sent to me on on Friday and it will show in my bank on Monday.
Today - no payment in my bank.
I assumed it would be overnight payment like they used to pay me in the past
( on Monday morning I always had money in)
Anyone here knows if it’s possible it takes longer to clear or they mixed up my account with someone else?
I was wondering shall I wait before call them again?

Do they also pay on Tuesday too or any other day?

I always thought it’s Monday only and if not on Monday then I have to wait for next Monday.

Are you in Scotland? It's a bank holiday there today I think. If the payment has come from an office in Scotland could it be delayed?

They said the payment gets send on Friday.
I wonder what day payments usually get released to bank if get paid on Monday.

If it's a bacs payment it won't clear til Tuesday or Wednesday depending what time they sent it on Friday.

I just rang my bank if they could see any payment like that coming in, they said nothing they can see at all.

Not the same but when we do emergency payments at work we have to say it will clear by end of the working day, some banks clear quicker than others. I know some payments don't clear until 5pm

I used to get paid 4 weekly every Monday by them - never had issue.
I guess they use Bacs - it says they use bank transfer on DWP website.
I just wonder what is the usual day they send ( transfer ) money to receive it on Monday morning.
