will carers allowance stop once ds is 18?

I receive Carers allowance for my DS.
He gets PIP at the higher rate.
Will it stop when he becomes 18 even if his PIP award goes on for 2 more years?

As long as you are still caring for him it won't stop.

I get pip at 32, my dad gets carers for me.
