dd2 is entitled to £500 to start with, and you can only pay £1,200 into it each year.
There are different starting rates for when the child is born.
1st sept 02-5th april 03 £277
6th april 03-5th april 04 £268
6th april 04-5th april 05 £256
6th april onwards £250
if when child was born you were on full CTc or income support you'll get an extra £250. the money wont be able to be touched till the childs 18th birthday.
