need help with the busy bees nursery vouchers scheme... whats the score with tax credits

We get child tax credit, so do we need to tell them that we are changing our payment method to nursery vouchers (ie tax free)? Neither the nursery fees nor our income have changed, and this is the information that the Tax Cred people need to have. The change now is just that our company has recently got into the Vouchers scheme and anything that saves me a few ££ is most welcome!
If anyone can tell me, I'll be most grateful and it would save me wasting half an hour trying to contact them

Yes - & you TC will probably go down if you have any childcare TC paid

gigglewitch · 17/01/2008 21:52

thanks. DH is convinced that as income and nursery fee are unchanged, the TC is irrelevant. I would just rather clarify it sooner rather than wait for them to tell us that we owe them, they only give us a peanut anyway
So it looks like that half hour in the Q waiting to talk to them then....

Your income has changed - you have made a salary sacrifice - so you earn less - your fees have also dropped as the salary sacrifice will not be counted
