Just looked on my payments section and I can't see the £326 payment just the same as every other month I'm confused, I know im also entitled to it.

TrailOfAbandonedPlanners · 15/07/2022 11:14

the information given was that it would be based on assessment period. But HOW was not specified.

Crazymadchickenlady · 15/07/2022 11:21

Daughter on esa got it yesterday

chillinwithmygnomies · 15/07/2022 11:26

It's been widely reported that it will be paid before the end of the month, I don't think that's confusing is it? It's frustrating that the message hasn't been properly understood and that people's expectations have been raised but I guess like everything new that's been organised quickly it won't be 100% perfect

Annamarieblue · 15/07/2022 17:48

@IcedOatLatte well I thought it would be in the payments section, so yes I was confused but I have read it and understood now thank you.

CoffeeLover90 · 17/07/2022 06:01

I've read that's being paid through a computer system automatically, to decrease the need for man power. There is no pattern to the selection, the system will take 10s of 1000s of claims each day and process the payment. It's not alphabetical, people with names starting after my initials have been paid, not NI number related, I know some younger and older than me have had it. That's why I read up how it worked. If you don't include weekends, they need to pay 800,000 approx to hit target. Personally I'm going to expect delays.

Moonchair1 · 17/07/2022 06:44

anyone got theirs o de weekend ? Still not got mine :( lol

Just to repeat what you have already been told the payments will be received between the 14th & 31st of July.

It is not a "joke" they are paying a ridiculous amount of people who receive one of at least 8 different benefits, it will take time.

abigailsnan · 18/07/2022 08:07

I got mine on Friday along with other friends who are retired are they dealing with pensioners first I wonder ?

Haveatakeaway · 18/07/2022 09:40

I got mine today with the child benefit, maybe yours will come like this aswell.

Moonchair1 · 18/07/2022 10:09

I get my monthly UC on Thursday and every Saturday I get the £21 child thing but still no sign of the COLP :( I’ve not got a “complicated “ claim like they say so don’t understand

They have made it quite clear that people will be paid it up to 31.07. It's paid separately to your normal payment. There are 8 million people to pay, I don't understand the panic some people have because it hasn't been paid to them 4 days since they started issuing. I get a lot will be relying on it but they made it clear what date it will be paid up to and that there may be a delay if you have a complicated case.

Trinxsy · 18/07/2022 12:34

Got ours today but we got UC Friday so doesn't seem connected in any way. It'll come. Nothing you can do really, it'll come when they get to you.

NoMichaelNo · 18/07/2022 17:05

Got ours today.

OP why don’t you understand that they have up until the 31st July to make the payment?

Harridan1981 · 18/07/2022 17:08

Honestly, how is it hard to understand? Your claim is no easier or more valid than anyone else's. We are only half way through the month.

Posters have told you lots of times, payments are being made until end of July.

Stop panicing and winding yourself up into a frenzy.

What's the rush it's supposed to go on Gas/Electricity I know it's a help but it's not exactly extra money as such!

Agree with others there's lots of payments to be paid..

No, this payment is for general living and goes syraight into your bank.

The elec/gas direct payment is being paid straight onto peoples utility bills from October.
