Recommendations needed for a good independent financial adviser

That's it really. Need someone who isn't making commission from selling mortgages or financial products. I'm in SE London so ideally someone local would be great. Any advice gratefully received.

You can certainly find a broker who doesn’t charge a fee for arranging a mortgage. Commission is paid to all brokers. If you have a problem with that you need to go directly to the lender.

Commission on investments has been banned for some time. Advisers will charge an advice fee which is either a percentage or a charge based per hour.
