So found the best for me using moneysaving martin

Its 0% on purchases for 12 months. I can do a balance transfer which will cost me 2.5% and then be charged at 2.9%.

So my question is how do I know how much to transfer. This month I am paying £150 off the balance, so do I transfer whats left after that, plus anything Ive spent? Do i then stop my dd to old card?

Work out what you will owe once £150 has been taken from the balance and then transfer that amount. Dont stop dd to old card until you know that the balance has been transfered, just give new cc people a ring. Once you know its been done you can then cancel dd,if dd is due to go out the day you find the bal has been transfered the bank will be able to recall dd on that day and the monies will go back into your account a few days later x
