Life Insurance - medical report

Orangesandlemons77 · 13/06/2022 16:51

Aviva have asked for a doctor's report / medical records before giving me a quote for life insurance

Does anyone know if this costs me anything as they haven't mentioned it, or do they pay for it? Thanks

Pretty sure you have to pay for it yourself (or it would be a good way of getting to see a Dr).

Make sure you know exactly what they want before you organise it.

Ok, they don't mention a charge, they are arranging it not me. I'll ask them about a charge

I would expect them to organise it and pay for it.

Aviva will pay your doctor to complete the report using your medical notes that they hold on file.

OK thanks, yes I can ask for a copy of the report and to see it.
