In April this year, I paid for a 12 month subscription of Premier Delivery at the same time as buying a pair of shoes. For those who aren't aware of this service, you pay £10 a year to have unlimited next day delivery.
Since having bought this. this has never activated and in my account, it says that Premier Delivery has 'expired'. I found this out as I wanted to buy something else, but found it wasn't letting me use their Premier Delivery option.
I contacted Customer Services through their online chat (impossible to find an email address or phone number!) and they assured me that it would be activated within an hour. As expected, this never happened.
I recently contacted them again and this time they gave my details to a 'specialist' email team. They have said that as I have 'used' this subscription, they are unable to refund me the cost, or activate the subscription as and I quote 'once it has been used, it is used'.
I am so annoyed that I have paid for a 12 month subscription, but only have been able to use this the once. I know there are bigger things going on in the world and it's £10, but it's not right that I've paid for a service that I'm not going to receive.
I will contact Trading Standards, but are there any Mumsnetters out there who have advice on how to get my money returned, or even a way to contact them?
