If I'm on a fixed energy tariff with EDF to 2024...

Only when the tariff ends. Unless there’s a specific contract term allowing an increase (doubtful)

Your unit price / standing charge won't. But your payment will depend on your usage, so if you start to use more than your direct debit is based on, it will go up to take your increased usage into account.

I have the same deal as you and have read the small print so many times my eyes hurt! No, it will only go up if you use more. We've been careful this quarter knowing that everything else is going up and we're £40 down on the same quarter last year. I'm so pleased we took the fix - still not sure why we did.
