Changing gas and electricity supplier now

Has anyone changed gas and electricity supplier now? I know we won't save money but I can't stay with British Gas who are beyond awful (we were forced to join them after PE went bust). I have wasted three hours trying to sort one issue and their live chat is so crap it is unreal.

No, but I had similar feelings about BG when we moved from them last summer.
Horrendous to get hold of, so I moved. Then I couldn't get them off the phone begging me to stay, and asking what they could have done to keep me - I did say make their website usable, and be contactable.
