Universal credit

My daughter is 20, has had an ehcp/ statement of special education needs for for than 10 years.
We didn't put in for any benefits in her name until last October, put in for universal credit.
In November we started the capability of work assessment, still waiting for assessment.
DD found the pressure to much so we found her a college placement, which started 2 weeks ago.
Told her job coach verbally and via journal.
Pip application has been started in November, needed extra time so has an extension, form went in mid January.
I'm hoping someone can help clear up whether she will be able to stay on universal credit while waiting for capability of work assessment and pip assessment??
Her dad has just retired due to ill heath mentally and physically and reaching state pension age.
I've been a stay at home , due to her needs and my hubby's shift patterns. Don't have family to act as a back up.
Would like to get part time job for my mental health needs, but DD needs for us to take her to and fro everywhere.
Never been out of the house alone. Luckily college placement is walkable., though dad's knees are suffering 2 weeks in.
So we take it in turns, which limits what I can do.

If she's been awarded LCWRA just click cancel on the report a Fit Note task - it's just a glitch where the system is used to reminding you about a Fit Note expiring.

If DD has LCWRA no more Fit Notes are required - it will just continue until Reassessment is due.

And you say you've been SAHP - maybe look into claiming Carers Allowance? Even if just to protect your NI Conts. until you work out what to do next.

Unless it's a straightforward degree, I'm never clear about what courses count as advanced and which are non-advanced and it can make a difference.

non advanced is Level 3 and below. Advanced is Level 4 & above.

Thank you for all your replies, had lots of messages from universal credit yesterday. Thankfully the fit note request has been cancelled as she's on lcwra, we did try and get dd a new fit note as it was on her commitments to do list.
But even the doctors surgery had a glitch on eConsult, so put on her journal that we would try on Monday. But then found fit note cancelled.

Haven't got around to carer's allowance yet, would I need to go through photo verification??
If yes I'm stuffed, my passport ran out in 2006, don't drive so no driving licence.

Another query is dd is paid as self employed, paid termly rather than monthly.
Have put the amount in this month's calculation, though put on her journal what the actual dates she did were over 2 months calculations.
They have set up a link to put in the figures, as contract is until 22nd of July, so academic terms 5 and 6.

So payment 1 covers whole of May calculation and 1st week of June, put payment in June's calculation as it was paid in June's calculation time scale.
So payment 2 will cover the rest of June and July, will be paid in July's calculation time scale.
Have we reported it correctly??
Thank you.
