Not had 20/21 tax calf from hmrc yet?

Has anyone else not had their 20/21 tax calculated yet? I don't do self assessment but normally would have had notification of a new tax code or refund by the summer after the end of the tax year and nothing yet!
Are they just horribly behind or is it a sign they are looking into something (I can't think what I might have done wrong!)

No idea what a tax calf is - I meant tax calc!

They're horribly behind. About 6% of staff diverted to Covid grants/loans. Lots of staff "working" from home. Even routine mail/post can take up to a year to be dealt with. They were a complete shambles pre covid and even worse now.

Ok thanks that's reassuring (albeit annoying).

I got mine the other day, finally!

The letter was utter gibberish, telling me I had an underpayment, but also improving my tax code for this year as they owed me money!

What they meant to say was that I'd initially had an underpayment, but they adjusted my tax code for the last few months of 20/21 to recover this, which then led to a slight overpayment by the end of the year (which is why my tax code has been adjusted for the last two months of this year).

They're a total shambles at present.

@NoWordForFluffy thanks- at least they're starting to filter through then!

I got mine on Wednesday - they owe me £3.62.

@Scarby9 better than nothing I suppose! I'm concerned about getting two years hit in one go on top of the ni hike. Could be more than two years at this rate...
