Wage of tilers

Anyone got any info on this please? How much is a realistic salary at present.

All tilers I know are self employed, so will charge either a day rate or fixed price for a job. We are in the south east and paid £150 a day for ours. My husband has worked with them before so not sure if we got it A little bit cheaper. They did a very good job and was worth every penny

£150 per day for mine, including adhesive but not grout.

I was badly ripped off a few years ago (London). I think I was charged £75 psqm. HOWEVER, it is the most gorgeous tiling job anybody has ever seen in their lives. I have had strangers literally gobsmacked and fawning over it including other tradespeople. So you probably could get a better job if you pay more (according to the expert eye) but a random person may not notice any difference
