Paid IVA off when will it show on credit

Hey so I took out an IVA in 2018, I then sold my house and paid the IVA off, I'm keen to get my credit up but it's still showing on my credit report. Does anyone know what I need to do to get it to show it's paid off?

It should show as settled on your credit report, but will remain on there until 6 years from the date it started, so at least a couple of years to wait until it fully drops off unfortunately.

If you want to build your credit, you may be eligible for a credit card from your own bank, or a credit builder card.

You can get it shown as satisfied but it will stay on there for 6 years.

Ah thought that was the case. Thank you x

You should get a certificate of completion 6-8 weeks after you've paid the IVA off and it will be removed from the insolvency register as well. But as others have said it will remain on your credit report for 6 years (not sure if it is from date of acceptance for the IVA or date of completion).

If you're trying to get a mortgage you'll probably need to see an independent mortgage broker who can help find you a deal.
