Thought better start new one as last one almost full

Let’s hope we win big November for Christmas

OP posts:
Ilovefluffysheep · 02/12/2021 11:18

£25 for me on max holdings, same for husband on £30k holdings.

Pretty pleased with that, we had some amazing luck in November as we got 5 numbers on the lottery! You get a fixed amount of £1750 for that. Trying not to think that if it had been one more number it would have been in the millions!

Anyway, very happy with winnings.

Magissa · 02/12/2021 11:31

3 x £25 on 20k

That means I'm the last four months I have won £150 - not bad!

JayAlfredPrufrock · 02/12/2021 11:32

Congratulations @ShanghaiDiva

Larryyourwaiter · 02/12/2021 11:59

£75 on £40k

AnnieSnap · 02/12/2021 12:27

@BarbaraofSeville yes, you’re right of course with the current low rates of interest. On reflection, my comment was a little out of date. I also have £32,000 in bonds and have won £125 over the last year, so I’m not a happy bunny! A colleague of mine had the same sort of figure 20-years-ago and regularly won £1000 & £500 prizes throughout each year. That was what inspired me to buy bonds when I could afford to. Sadly, they have repeatedly reduced the number of prizes ever since!

DrMadelineMaxwell · 02/12/2021 12:39

Nothing for me on 25k.

£75 for dh on 45k

MsEmmeline · 02/12/2021 13:04

2x £25 for me on approximately £40k.

MsEmmeline · 02/12/2021 13:05

Congrats to the big winner earlier in the thread, and to the other winners, and good luck next month to everyone else 🙂.

DaydreamerBetty · 02/12/2021 13:23

Congratulations to all that won.
Nothing for me this month on 10k.

stingofthebutterfly · 02/12/2021 13:45

Nada for the third month in a row. Tried to top up a couple of days ago to have more in January's draw, but a problem with autofilling the card details made my investment allowance decrease to zero, so it kept telling me I couldn't invest more, even though I don't have full holdings. Incredibly frustrating.

Blondeshavemorefun · 02/12/2021 13:45

Nothing for me. Bugger it

@bloodywhitecat

DH has won £100 which is amazing with the luck he has had recently. I have sent him a text telling him so as a way of seeing if he really can read (he had a major stroke on 20th Nov and is currently in hospital, he has no speech and can't type but he indicates he can read and looks at text for an appropriate amount of time, my big wish is that he can read the Whatsapps I send him morning and night. I know it is daft and he most likely can't read but it would be a huge thing if he can).
Sorry to hear shout dh

I hope he does manage to read it

@ShanghaiDiva

£1025! Merry Xmas to me!
Think you are this months winner on here
OP posts:
KeyboardWorriers · 02/12/2021 13:55

Congrats @ShanghaiDiva ! Perfect timing for a decent win Smile

£25 for me. Second £25 win since buying bonds in July. Happy with £50 so far on a £9k holding

Scottishgirl85 · 02/12/2021 13:58

@HeronLanyon

Maximum holding. Nothing for 5 months now ! Had flurry of regular small or smallish winnings last year but this barren patch is so disappointing !
That's really rubbish luck and statistically highly unlikely. You have every right to be disappointed! Fingers crossed for next month.
SSOYS · 02/12/2021 14:00

2 x £25 on max holding.

wizzler · 02/12/2021 14:37

Nothing for us on £30k. We have had £375 winnings this year, though our holding has ranged from £25k to £45k, so not too bad

WowIlikereallyhateyou · 02/12/2021 16:19

£25 on max holdings.

orangechairs · 02/12/2021 16:39

Nothing on full holdings. Again! Had £50 last month but that was after a very long dry spell. I'm hoping my bad odds means someone else is having a great run!

TulipsTwoLips · 02/12/2021 17:02

Nothing here on £12000

JayAlfredPrufrock · 02/12/2021 17:29

Just checked my spreadsheet. I’ve won every month this year. A1% return.

Parky04 · 02/12/2021 17:38

£125 for me and £75 for DP on full holdings.

h0rsewithn0name · 02/12/2021 19:03

Nothing for me, on my second month. Gradually increasing my holdings and will have £10,000 for the next draw. Fingers crossed for us all.

whywouldntyou · 02/12/2021 19:27

Interestingly not a single 'big' winner from my county.

I have not-quite-maximum holding dating from the early 80s to now, I wonder if the odds would be better if we cashed them in and bought the same amount in one block?

No. Your odds would be worse because you’d be unnecessarily missing one prize draw. Each individual bond has a 34,500:1 chance of winning, so it makes zero difference whether they’re in one big block or lots of little blocks.
