Nothing here for the second month running on just over £50k between me and DH.

£25 on £40k this month. Same as last month! Had to withdraw 10k but hoping to build back up to full holdings soon.

I have a quick question. If I want to buy more premium bonds, when is the best time to purchase them to maximise the draw?

I think this was mentioned on a thread a few months ago but can't find the answer.

About the 25th to make sure they're definitely in before the end of the month to enter the next month's draw. The worst time to buy them is the 1st as then they take 2 months to have a winning chance.

I have been thinking about the next draw. If my maths are correct agent million will be contacting the winners on 2nd May which is a bank holiday in England so DH and I will be home all day 😁 to get the call.

Forgot to update- I had my first win (11 months of bonds) in April - £25.

£50 from £21k this month. First in a while. Winning bonds only purchased in Dec(£25 prize from a prize effectively) and April(£3k)

£50 in April after several months of nothing. £32,000 investigated. They reduced the number of prizes twice last year due to interest rates going down didn’t they. I bet they won’t be in a rush to increase them now they are going up again 🙄

Every month I'm absolutely astonished when I don't win the million 😂

Maybe instead of a few people winning £100/50k they should split into all being £5k and making more people happy 😂

Chase is offering a generous introductory rate flans I’ve been toying with the thought of moving my cash savings there and out of premium bonds. So far the “what if.:.” Daydreams are stopping me though 😂

I'm the same, in fact I'm 98% sure I'm going to transfer over to chase.

The release date is late this month because the agent has to fly to NZ to tell me I have won.😀

Today’s the million day! I’ve been back to rightmove to check on my saved houses. My favourite has recently gone, I wonder if I could gazump them?
