Yes, that's definitely an added bonus Clickncollect - albeit a bonus I'm still waiting for. Grin

VeganCow · 03/02/2022 21:35

3 x £25 on £46K

How much has everyone won in the last 12 months? £475 for me since Feb 21

WhatsWrongWithMyUsername · 03/02/2022 21:54

I’ve had 0.3% in 7 months, so about 0.5% annualised. Not brilliant, but I think my savings account was 0.25%.

£425 in the past 12m. I have full holdings now, but i didn’t a year ago.
RubbishDay · 04/02/2022 09:28

Anyone know what day the small wins will likely be paid into a bank account?

Eaumyword · 04/02/2022 10:56

It's usually about the 8th of the month I think?

Mindymomo · 04/02/2022 11:18

@VeganCow. I have won £625 and DH has won £475 in 13 months, we both have maximum £50,000. The most I have won is 5 x £25 one month.

VeganCow · 04/02/2022 11:25

So it seems like the average is £400-£600 over the year for those holding maximum or almost?

WhatHaveIFound · 04/02/2022 11:27

£25 for me and £50 for DH this month. It's the first time he's won since last July on £25k investment.

DaisyChains3 · 04/02/2022 11:28

I w just found this thread. How much to invest and what is the likelihood of winning?

LuckyHedgehog · 04/02/2022 12:11

VeganCow That sounds about right. I posted our figures earlier in the thread, but we won between £325 and £475 last year, and between £475 and £750 in 2020 (when the prize rate was slightly higher).

LuckyHedgehog · 04/02/2022 12:18

DaisyChains3 There's a probability calculator on the MoneySavingExpert website telling you how likely you are to win a prize. The more you invest, the more likely you are to win (obviously); if you only have a very small amount invested, e.g. £100, you're highly unlikely to win anything. I had £2 invested Grin and won a grand total of £25 in 45 years, but now that I have maximum holdings, regularly win £25 (or multiples of £25, up to about £100) every month - although there are also months that I don't win a thing. My biggest single prize in two years has been £100.

Definitely the less you hold the less likely you'll ever win at all. A £1000 winner this month had the grand sum of £2 since 1958, bet they were shocked to win that 🤣
MissVictoriaPlum · 04/02/2022 17:57

It was our first month of being entered. I won £50 on full holdings and DH won £25 on full holdings. We chose the option to reinvest but is that what happens if your holdings are full? I didn't think you were allowed to have any more than 50k

fedup078 · 04/02/2022 18:01

@MissVictoriaPlum it goes into your bank account

Estara · 04/02/2022 18:13

Exciting, I didn't know there was a thread.
I won my first £25 this month. I put in £3k in May and been waiting patiently.

OublietteBravo · 04/02/2022 20:23

I got £5 of premium bonds as a christening present. They show up on my bond record as having been held since 1958, but this is a lie - 1958 is almost 20 years before I was born. So whilst it is fair to conclude that they’ve held the bonds for a long time, I’d take the 1958 date with a pinch of salt.

Cottagepieandpeas · 05/02/2022 07:47

Nothing again this month. I’ve had £5k in for 6 months and have yet to win Sad

OublietteBravo · 24/02/2022 21:04

Place marking ahead of the March draw.

Might the bonds have been transferred to you from a relative? I think some of my bonds are like this.
OublietteBravo · 25/02/2022 15:52

@BreakingUpWithMyPhone - nope. I still have the original paper bonds. They’re definitely dated 1976.

OublietteBravo · 25/02/2022 15:57

In the olden days you bought the bonds, and the issuing office applied a date stamp (and presumably sent the counter foil to some central repository). I expect NS&I just don’t have a record of precisely when the bonds were actually issued.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/02/2022 04:46

Time to get neatly excited Again

Feb is a short month. 4 days to go

I need a win this year - haven’t had one since Nov :(

OP posts:
Associatepeggy · 26/02/2022 05:10

I love these few days, I can spend time dreaming what I will do with a big win Grin only had mine for 6 months and doing well so far though. 4 lots of £25.

I put quite a chunk in as it's money for my tax bill later this year. So would like a big win before then 😁
