OP posts:

25 on almost full holdings across 2 acounts. Would have liked more but pleased we won something as didn't last month.

Sleepyquest · 05/01/2022 08:09

Nothing for me but £50 for DH so not a bad morning

Polmuggle · 05/01/2022 08:12

Nothing for me in £30k. First month I've never won anything!

PlinkPlankPlunk · 05/01/2022 08:14

I googled this morning to see if the January draw was somehow bigger, as we had a good haul - despite me messing up by withdrawing £20k from DH’s holdings one day before the draw date (to overpay the mortgage).

So DH got 2 x £25 on a £300 holding (yes really!) and I got 4 x £25 on a full holding. I’m very happy!

FiveShelties · 05/01/2022 08:26

@PlinkPlankPlunk - wow that result for your husband is fantastic. Although, yours is not bad either - congratulations.

fedup078 · 05/01/2022 08:29

£25 on over 65k
I'm starting to agree with a few pp that maybe this isn't the best place for my money
And agree with another pp who said we haven't had anyone on here win big (or have we?)
Does anyone even know anyone who won a big prize? Relatively recently?

Someaddedsugar · 05/01/2022 08:32

3x £25 win for me (£30k holding) and 1x £25 for DS (£1.4k holding) - very pleased for both of us. I imagine that's us done for the year 😂

Gufo · 05/01/2022 08:32

Nothing again this month - I think between us DH and I are tracking at the equivalent of 1%. Going to withdraw some to pay off some more of the mortgage instead though.

OublietteBravo · 05/01/2022 08:34

Just £25 for me on a full holding.

@fedup078 - I can’t remember anyone on here winning more than £1000 in the last year or so. My biggest single win was £500 (December 2020). I’m pretty sure the £1000 win was more recent than that.

ShanghaiDiva · 05/01/2022 08:37

I won £1000 in December. My biggest win was £5k about five years ago.

I think there was someone here last month with 1k
ChessieFL · 05/01/2022 08:39

@Iveputmyselfonthenaughtystep the problem with putting it all in one child’s name is that legally it becomes their money so you can’t force them to split it. Hopefully they would do as you wish, but you never know what they might be like at 18 so it’s a bit risky.

fedup078 · 05/01/2022 08:46

I've just worked out I had £550 on full holdings in the last year

InMySpareTime · 05/01/2022 08:51

@Iveputmyselfonthenaughtystep it would probably be best to give each child some bonds, but set it to pay out prizes to an account that you then split between them.

oviraptor21 · 05/01/2022 08:55

I have a 30K holding. Won £100 in July (my first month) and £25 in August. Nothing since.

recklessgran · 05/01/2022 09:24

£25 x 4 for us on full holdings. Good start to the year.

stingofthebutterfly · 05/01/2022 09:36

Haven't won anything since September but very pleased to wake up to one £25 and one £500 win this morning.

TreacleMoon2 · 05/01/2022 09:36

5 x £25 on full holding

Very happy with that Smile

SouthernFashionista · 05/01/2022 09:40

3 x £25 on £11,750 invested. A return so far of around 1.8% which beats any other savings accounts I have.

MountainAshley · 05/01/2022 09:58

£50 for me on full holding.

fromdownwest · 05/01/2022 10:22

£0 on £30k for second month in a row.

As previously mentioned, if this money was not needed for my tax bills each year, there is no way I would be using this for growth.

zighead · 05/01/2022 10:32

Nothing for me on 20K and nothing for DS on 7K. Very disappointing!

MouseyMoose · 05/01/2022 10:34

After a dry spell I've got 3 x £25, on about £45k.

Iveputmyselfonthenaughtystep · 05/01/2022 10:43
