Child maintenance money affecting child benefit?

Hi all. I've searched everywhere but can't find the answer to this.

I'm about to go for the job of my dreams which pays a £45k salary. It's a massive jump from what I'm on, but I wondered whether my ex partner's child maintenance contribution will mean I have to pay money back for child benefit as it will take me over £50k? For child benefit eligibility, it mentions salary, interest etc but no mention of child maintenance in the calculation.

Thanks!

CM isn't included in the calculations for any other benefits so I can't imagine it would be for CB either.

No, child maintenance isn't taken into consideration so you won't have to stop claiming cb or pay any back

CM is not taken into consideration for any benefits as it's unreliable income. It did used to but seeing as a lot of men don't bother or are inconsistent they changed it.

Thank you very much. JurassicShay, that would have been my next question as my ex pays different amounts each month and is not consistent.
