I've downloaded some old statements as PDFs (the only option on the online banking page)

I'd really like them in excel though - do you know if it's possible to convert them?

You can download the statements in cv files from online banking

Nothing to do with Nat West but there are various free websites where you can upload pdfs and they convert them. I know you can convert to Word, you could see if they will convert to Excel - just google convert pdf to excel.

I'm looking at old statements so the only option on the online banking site is PDF.

Can you do a transaction search that goes back far enough? You have to set a time period of a year or less, eg from 1/4/18 to 31/3/19. Once you have done the search you can then download in csv format.
