What to do with engagement ring that doesn’t fit anymore

My engagement ring won’t fit on my finger anymore. I will need it to be resized and also the diamond is too small in my opinion so if I was to change it I would like to add in a bigger stone. The ring was purchased from H Samuel for £1200 and is the forever diamond, with lots of little diamonds along the base of the ring.

It was purchased 3 years ago. Does anyone know what I could do with it or should I sell it for whatever I can get and just buy a brand new ring in my new size with a bigger diamond? If I was to sell it do H Samuel do trade ins or would I have to go to a private shop?

Thanks

Ask a jeweller - not a chain like HS Samuel, a local one where they know about resizing, I’d be surprised if there isn’t some clever resizing they could do.

I wouldn’t try to trade it in, second hand rings get very very little money.
