Playing catch up as not been on here for a bit so apologies if this has been covered but John Lewis Bot has had the final report posted on her biz posted at Companies House. Makes for a shocking read. Not sure if I’m more shocked by her defaulting on the £500 per month plus 10k chairman’s cheque payment and that the investigators found she had zero assets to use towards her debt or by them appearing to write off her whopping debt. Surely she will at the very least be barred from being a director?

Yet still being paraded as a success story.
Botbrigade · 30/11/2021 12:51

Exactly. From her social media, you’d think she was living the millionaire dream.

Spongebobette · 30/11/2021 18:15

Blimey she had her debt written off? So there are 0 consequences for defaulting on an agreement with HMRC?

They did a Land Registry search and found that there were no assets!
She has no equity and no assets

Thank you very much Forever Living!!!

So John Lewis bot is insolvent & pregnant 🤰 a wonderful combination.

Spongebobette · 30/11/2021 19:56

Join Forever Living!

You, too, can leave a successful career in retail, managing John Lewis stores, giving it all up to buy into a dream, standing on a stage to hook others in, spend every penny you make and get into such debt that you are insolvent, default on repayment agreement, promise the Revenue 10k in 2019 in expectation of Chairman’s bonus, then not get it, then argue ad infinitum about what you owe, suffer the indignity of having your assets valued and being found worthless…..

Where can I sign up???

Fur coat, no knickers ... and you can’t take knickers off a bare arse.

definitelynotabot · 30/11/2021 20:51

Wow. How on earth is that all possible. A quick search shows she's presenting training on the FLPUK youtube channel last year while this was all going on. That's downright awful.

Botbrigade · 30/11/2021 21:00

This really is outrageous. It’s essentially fraud on every level. This should be exposed.

Spongebobette · 30/11/2021 21:08

It’s incredible that she’s still being touted as a success by Forever Living

They can’t have many successful bots to choose from, can they?

BSintolerant · 30/11/2021 23:29

Let’s see if she turns up on the list of disqualified directors.

Pissed me right off that Uber did a double act Live with JL back in January this year, touting JL as a success story while at that time she was in a lot of trouble. Of course, loads of people admiring JL’s success and probably signing up on the strength of it - don’t know how Uber sleeps at night.

Spongebobette · 01/12/2021 11:55

I also wonder whether assets were in her husband’s name so couldn’t be seized
Is that something the Revenue look at?

If it were suspected that someone had transferred assets into someone else’s name purely to stop creditors going after them the court could still approve an order for sale to pay back creditors.

JohnStonesMissus · 01/12/2021 16:54

@BSintolerant

If it were suspected that someone had transferred assets into someone else’s name purely to stop creditors going after them the court could still approve an order for sale to pay back creditors.
Also, isn't it classed as hiding assets? The courts take a very dim view of that, people have been know to go to prison for it..
Botbrigade · 01/12/2021 17:04

I heard he had been made bankrupt years ago so not sure that would have worked. Also, they just spent it in the good years I think. Not a bean to run together now. They’ve only ever rented.

funkylittleboatrace · 01/12/2021 18:24

Can I please have a clue for John Lewis bot?

JohnStonesMissus · 01/12/2021 18:39

known was what I meant to say, bloody phone!

YouokHun · 01/12/2021 19:26

I understand that there isn’t a clear line with assets when married. so if Mr JL had a house in his name, JL would probably have a ‘beneficial interest’ in it. For example she might have a beneficial interest if she helped pay for the mortgage or improvements to “his” home. So that home might come into the calculations. She can’t make gifts to him either; “quick, I’m insolvent, I give you my white Rangey before it’s counted as my asset” - I’m thinking of one of my parents neighbours who tried that when he was bankrupt. Didn’t Mr JL have problems with a massive tax bill, or was that her downfall? What a disastrous move to depart JL or FLP, and then to go back for more…!

NynaeveSedai · 01/12/2021 19:56

Yawns last insta post claims that the last two Christmasses were lame ones. Has she forgotten that covid started in February last year or is she telling us something subconsciously about her Christmas before last??

Botbrigade · 01/12/2021 20:40

They aren’t married.

Spongebobette · 01/12/2021 20:44

Hmmm a glance at Companies House tells me John Lewis big and hubby started a new company on 21 Aug 2020

Sleaze is alkalising his body with a shed load of expensive products Now as someone who actually does have acidic blood shall I tell him all he needs is simple Sodium Bicarbonate which he can buy down Tesco for pence?? (I do get mine prescribed but that's effectively what it is!)

YouokHun · 01/12/2021 21:18

@funkylittleboatrace
The first name is the same as Ms Collins from TOWIE. The second name first syllable rhymes with Sleaze but starts with the E and the second syllable is the word used for an Oxbridge lecturer.
