Selling possessions and/or matched betting while on universal credit

Hello

Does anybody know if I sell some possessions (eg very old jewellery, my daughter’s old clothes/toys, anything else I can find around the house that we don’t need) will that count as income for universal credit?

Also does anyone know if income from matched betting counts too?

Thanks

I don’t think people declare earning from selling their old used clothes and thinks like that.

From what I understand, you can earn up to £1000 a year before you have to register as self employed . Unsure about universal credit as I've not been on it.

No it doesn’t count. Unless you earn over £16k

16k is the savings cut off for UC not earnings.
