things have come to a head, i've got to see a lawyer but don't really know where to start. seems very expensive, don't mind paying, but need a good lawyer. Our financial situation is complicated. We are in North/cenral london
help please, dh away 1 week so got to act now.

OK you need a specialist family lawyer. Any good family lawyer will be a member of Resolution. see www.resolution.org.uk for a local one.

Many offer first half hour free.

If complicated, you need someone who knows what they're doing. Get a solicitor/legal executive with at least 5 years pqe specialising in ancillary relief.
