IVA 1 year review thing

I'm just after some advice on what to expect for the one year review thing really, I've just received the email, i know I have to get paperwork in order and send to them, but that's it. Will I get any phone calls? Will they increase my monthly payment? Will they include my sons dla and the disabled child element on UC as earnings? And do I HAVE to give them access to my bank accounts, or can I just send bank statements? Sorry for all the questions, I am just stressing now.

But one year down now! 5 to go! Then I have my fresh start!

DLA won't be considered, it's for your child.

Have you looked on the IVA section of the MSE forum? That's much more knowledgeable and experienced about the practicalities of an IVA.

I had one years ago and they weren't particularly thorough/strict about your expenses during the review, if you told them your groceries had gone up £20 pw, they'd just accept it. But I didn't have any complications like DLA.

One tip I would give is be realistic about your expenses, food, petrol and utilities have gone up in the last year for example. You're allowed to live a reasonable life, you're not expected to sit in the dark and eat cold beans until the IVA is settled.

Thanks for that @BarbaraofSeville il have a read through.

It's good to know they won't take into account my dc's DLA. I guess I'm stressing that they'll see his trips out as us spending on luxuries if that makes sense
