How long did you wait for a CMS collect and pay payment?

Hi, this is my first time posting so hopefully I'm doing it right.
Basically, I signed up to the child maintenance service end of 2020. First payment was due jan2021 which was missed, I requested to change to collect and pay in February. I’ve contacted them a few times and they just say it can take a few months which isn’t particularly helpful. I’m going to phone tomorrow but could anyone give me a rough idea how long it took from open wing a collect and pay change to when they received their first payment?

I changed to collect and pay in February, and i'm getting my first payment in August. They have already deducted from ex's earnings a week ago but from the letter they sent me, it said i'd get the money in Aug

Absolutely ages. Nightmare.

6 months it took for me. Not worth it for the 29quid a month but its the principle I guess

I started in the October. Got a payment February. Ex left his job and went self employed in the March. 🙄
